Amanda is our Neurofeedback Practitioner. She joined the O’Keefe Matz family practice in May 2019. Amanda has immersed herself in the health and wellness industry for the entirety of her adult life. She is a Culinary Arts graduate through the Art Institute International of Minneapolis and has found a passion learning the anatomy of the body, it’s functions and the importance of healing emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually. Amanda focuses on a healthy sustainable lifestyle and practices what she preaches. Being an athlete her entire life, she feels it is important that she keeps a healthy body and mind through yoga. As a certified yoga teacher, she integrates yoga therapy/meditation techniques and coherence breath work into the Neurofeedback program offered at the clinic. She is BrainCore Neurofeedback Certified and a patient herself. Having an auto-immune disease and her own neurological/cognitive symptoms, Amanda has found a natural, non-invasive therapy that supports her brain and body and looks forward to helping others with their own personal wellness journey.
Amanda and her family thoroughly enjoy the outdoors, whether that be circling the lakes, camping or a travel adventure. She feels lucky to live in the Twin Cities that offers such variety in the arts, food and culture.
